Introduction to Electrical and Computer Engineering

In this course module students get introduced to Printed Circuit Board (PCB) board assembly process and ciruit testing tools. The traffic light circuit board designed in Course Module 1 will be assembled on a PCB. Students will be able to identify basic electrical/electonic components, and learn the necessary skills to solder the circuit components on a PCB, and apply testing techniques to verify correct operation of the circuit.
The e-mindset is addressed by providing students opportunity to make connections between the topics covered in this course module with real-world applications, and giving challenges for their curious minds -- to extend the functionality of their project or to come up with new innovative applications of the concepts.
